Expertise

Eight areas I work in — each one I practised in the field before I led it.

Technology strategy & digital transformation

Technology plans that start from the organisation's goals, with a clear roadmap to transform processes and improve the customer experience.

Practised atGovernment entity, Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority

Enterprise & technology architecture

An architecture vision and roadmap for the infrastructure, and design reviews that keep projects scalable, secure and fast.

IT governance & compliance

Unified policies, standards and procedures, with IT audits and regulatory compliance kept on track.

How I work

Principles I write about and work by.

  1. 01

    Technology serves the organisation's goals

Every technology plan starts from the goal it serves; the tools come after. That is how technology turns from a cost into lasting value.

  2. 02

    Planning is a strategic process

Not a timeline or a list of requirements, but a clear vision, an understanding of user needs, risk analysis and efficient use of resources.

  3. 03

Every change is tested before it spreads

A change goes first to a test environment and a limited set of devices to learn its impact, and only then to the whole system.

  4. 04

Manage resources wisely, not just build them

Strong systems alone are not enough; capacity management is what lets an organisation scale steadily and stay stable at peak times.
