Riyadh Metro technical readiness

CAMCO’s enterprise technical training programme behind Riyadh Metro’s operational readiness — planned and monitored, with three departments under my lead.

  • CAMCO · Riyadh Metro
  • May 2024 – May 2026
  • My role: Technical Capability Readiness Manager
  • 3,220+

    employees trained

  • 8,000+

    learning interventions

  • 3

    departments led

Scope

  • CAMCO’s operational workforce and subcontractor base across the Riyadh Metro network.
  • Technical training, competency management and knowledge transfer.
  • Stakeholders: RCRC, TGA, PMS and BACS.

What I did

  • Built the policies, procedures and strategies for technical training, competency management and knowledge transfer.
  • Risk-based training needs analysis (RBTNA) with mitigation plans protecting timelines and quality.
  • Oversaw the TMS and CMS for CAMCO and all subcontractor staff.
  • Assessed and coordinated training vendors against technical and safety standards.
  • Built and managed the annual technical training and knowledge transfer budget.
  • Tracked training, OJT and competency assessments and reported readiness to senior management.

Outcome

  • TMS and CMS formally validated by the Transport General Authority (TGA).
  • Honoured among the Riyadh Metro Heroes by RCRC and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
  • Bronze, Best Learning & Development Program — Saudi CX Awards 2025, representing CAMCO.
  • Policies, procedures, training and RBTNA matrices and assessor guidelines kept aligned and audit-ready.

The work no one sees is often the work with the most impact.
